To call this a photography trip would be inappropriate. Its more a lesson in history, a lesson in what greed and power can drive man to do against another man. The sites of Auschwitz and Birkenau do offer plenty of opportunities to take your camera with you and photograph evidence of the worst crimes against mankind in Europe. What I saw left me a bit shocked and I spent more time absorbing the history than paying any attention to the settings on my camera.

This is my first experiment with video – it clearly has its pros and cons. Created this using iMovie and lightroom – total editing time approximately 3 hrs including selection of pictures, soundtrack and adding content.
